Tender, Contracts and Pricing Specialist is responsible for the preparation and submission of tenders, offers and contracts in both Public and Private healthcare sector and is responsible for Customer's pricing management. The selected candidate will work closely with the team members and in conjunction with Regional Sales Managers, Key Account Managers and will report to Tenders, Contracts and Pricing Manager Italy.
Major Accountabilities
• Preparation of tenders, quotes and contracts for medical devices and services in a timely manner, according to the Company procedures, to the Customer specifications and to the Italian Law (Codice degli Appalti).
• Ensure daily pricing management including updating internal systems and ad hoc requests.
• Accurate and timely submission of all the assigned tasks, without exception.
• Collaboration with the Sales Team to identify the best Customer proposal leveraging products, services and solutions available.
• Collaboration with all the functions in charge for the preparation of technical and administrative documents needed for tenders and contracts submission.
• Pro-active benchmarking of tender and contract submissions to ensure best-in-class approach.
• Daily use of the software tools available for tenders/offers/contracts preparation and pricing management.
• Any other duties or projects as requested by the Line Manager including special projects.
• Reporting of activities to Tenders, Contracts and Pricing Manager Italy.
Languages
• Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required
• Any other European language would be an asset.
Qualification:
• Experience working (minimum 2 years) within the medical devices environment and e-procurement portals; commercial awareness of the healthcare industry; knowledge and understanding of products, services and medical devices marketplace.
• Preferable background of studies or experience in Law, Tender Management or Public Administration, with knowledge of the Italian Tenders Law (Codice degli Appalti).
• Proven experience in developing and establishing successful key relationships and delivering excellent standards of customer service.
• Proven project management skills which demonstrate flexibility and ability to adjust to changing customer’s needs.
• Analytical problem solver, precise and attentive to details.
• Excels in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and urgent deadlines
• Familiar with software tools like Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of Oracle/Model N software would be an asset.
